Daily Devotional with the Inspired Word of God

This book, The Bridge so Long, is a story about Spenser Madison, a twenty something man with a very routine life, maybe even a very dull life, until that one particular day when he was to take Mr. Able, his boss, to catch a plane going to a business conference. This short trip and the events that took place before he could pick up his boss changed his whole life from that moment on. He to quickly found out what a difference just one moment in time can make. He also found out that he needed help from strangers to get out of the difficulties that came looking for him that morning. Many of these strangers eventually became good friends to Spencer. One in particular, Emily, became much more than just a friend. How they met and what she did to help him in his time of trouble is revealed in his story. I’ll let Spenser tell you all that took place in his story using Spenser’s own words.

Why? Are we Crumbling From Within?

WHY? Are we crumbling from within? These are questions that are becoming more real as we move forward with the existing changes and proposed changes taking place now. This writing follows the 2020 General Elections. The questions come from so many things that took place before and after November 3rd, 2020. Back then they covered so many areas that might still effect each of us directly and indirectly today. This writing in 2020 provides a brief history of where our Nation came from, and then covers the changes and proposed changes that should still concern most of us. Then, it gives some possible creditable, workable solutions that could bring us through these times of adverse problems and conditions we will be facing. Our desire and motivation should be for the survival of our Nation as the greatest world power. And with all of our freedoms and future peace and safety left still in place. Lord please help us!

PROMISES OF GOD

This book contains a certain number of God's promises that depend upon our obedience to His commandments, instructions, and statutes. Not included here are those in which He tells us if we are disobedient to these. The reason we include the positive promises is to encourage believers in Christ Jesus and to show all others the blessings that comes to each person when we commit our lives to the Lord.
