This book is a collection of three separate titled short stories. Each has a theme of life threatening experiences by young people going through great difficulties. Each separate story tells of individual times when they could have been maimed or possibly even killed. It also tells of the extended periods of time when they experienced great personal hardships. 1. In Shanghai Exodus both Pi and Tang are effected by the greed of their very own father for his financial gain. 2. In For One Life the three Mendez children are effected by an act of God where their own parents were lost. 3. And in From Here to There both Johan and Oleg are effected by mandates from their own controlling government which drives them to seek a better way for them to live. They found their answer in a very special book they had found.

This is a collection of three separate titled short stories. They each tells of young people experiencing very difficult times, some even life threatening events. The three separate stories entertain you with realistic experiences that could happen to anyone of us. The first title: “Freewheeling” a story of Duffy who is transitioning from his Naval career in search of work he may want to pursue for his future. He encounters some unexpected disruptions. This dramatically reroute his expectations. Will these changes be good? In the second story, “Runaways” a story of two young men, Ryan and Blake, who want to find out what it feels like to be out from under their mother’s control for the first time. The pros and cons of being on their own become very real to them the first few days out. Will they have a change of heart about this adventure? In the third, “A Job Title” Ben finally finds work doing something he really loves, and even in a very tough job market. It is almost like he is getting paid to have fun. That is, until a very much unexpected scary event happens. Read on to see what else he finds. Some are not so good and some are very good.

This book could be offensive to some select readership. It also contains something for most everyone. It references many Christian Biblical scriptures and Godly language. It contains both fiction and nonfiction with interesting family oriented short stories. Many of these are heart felt, some with humorous exchanges, others that tell directions to find an individual’s spiritual faith and hope. It also contains some poems, some One Liners and much more.
